Tasting notes
Moderately saturated medium red. Ripe strawberry and raspberry aromas are complicated by underbrush and dried flowers. Sweet, supple and fine-grained, with the red fruit flavors nicely framed by bright, harmonious acidity and complicated by savory minerality. Finishes with subtle salinity and lovely balance.

Spicy and fragrant. Oak evident on the mid palate but the fruit is sufficient to stand up to it. Dry, light tannins, gentle persistence. (JH)
There is so much to like in the 2012 Chambolle-Musigny Les Charmes. Silky and layered, the 2012 graces the palate with expressive dark red fruit and tons of Chambolle sensuality, all in a hugely attractive, mid-weight style. Pliant and expressive through to the finish, the 2012 should offer a long drinking window of superb drinking.
