Tasting notes
The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Aida Estate is packed with super-ripe dark cherry, bittersweet chocolate, new leather, licorice, cloves and gravel. This potent, brooding Cabernet Sauvignon is dialed up to the maximum. All things considered, the 2015 has aged very well.

A dense, super-ripe wine, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Aida Estate packs a real punch. Succulent plum, pomegranate, mint, mocha and licorice all mesh together in this voluptuous, exuberant Cabernet Sauvignon. The Aida captures the essence of the vintage and the Vineyard 29 house style at its best. There is just enough freshness and verve to balance out this full-throttle Cabernet.
Very deep purple-black in color, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Aida Estate Vineyard gives up warm cassis, black berry and black cherry notes with hints of cedar chest, black pepper, black soil and baking spices plus a waft of tapenade. Medium to full-bodied, firm and tautly built, it has a lovely ripe and coarsely grained texture with oodles of freshness giving lift to the muscular fruit. It finishes on a complex earthy note. 750 cases were made.
The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Aida Estate is a baby. Intense and primary, but with surprising freshness for the year, the 2015 possesses notable breadth and size. This is a strong showing.
