Tasting notes
This is an enjoyable wine, with luscious dark fruits and a ton of personality, but as during En Primeur, it struggles to fully balance the exuberance of the vintage. Enjoyable cumin, espresso and incense, short on the finish.

A smaller St Julien that struggles to overcome the vintage, a shame because finding these independent properties in appellations such as St Julien is the holy grail of En Primeur. Here the flavours are a little overdone, intense slab of black chocolate, coffee bean, cassis, bitter on the finish, although there is structure and plenty of tannic grip. One to watch over ageing.
The 2022 du Glana is a soft, fruity Saint-Julien to drink over the near to medium term. Bright red berry fruit, spice, rose petal and blood orange all open nicely, framed by silky tannins.
