Score 90/100 · Drink 2025-2032, Yohan Castaing, Wine Advocate, Mar 2025

A singular blend of Gros Manseng, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Viognier, the 2022 du Tertre Blanc reveals aromas of honeysuckle, white flowers, ripe pear and citrus blossom. Moderately weighted and round, it's enrobing and charming with a satiny texture culminating in a pure and mouthwatering finish.

One of the iconic dry whites of the Médoc peninsula, bottling under Vins de France because of the unusual mix of grape varieties. It is clearly one of the best of the lineup in the 2022 vintage, with a ton of personality and character. Delicious gunsmoke and white peach, sweet citrus curd and vanilla pod add depth through the mid palate, lifted by white flowers. Aged in 70% new oak, barrels and 500l demi-muys, from 3.8ha of vines. Love the shape and energy of this white, with an emphasis on fresh citrus and stone fruits, rounded out by more subtle waves of white tea, pink grapefruit and sage. Unusual, juicy with plenty of grip, it seems less touched by the vintage than many whites in the region. Eric Boissenot and Marco Balsimelli consultants.
