lenty of citrus and spice nuances are present on the expressive nose that slides gracefully into the delicious, vibrant and attractively textured flavors that offer better than average depth and persistence. This is really quite good for what it is and would make a fine choice for a crisp summer sipper.
Bottled just before the harvest, Roulot's 2018 Bourgogne Aligoté opens in the glass with aromas of green apples, pears, white flowers and blanched almonds, framed by a deft touch of oak. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and succulent, with an elegantly textural, charming profile. (WK)
