Structured and intense with a medium to full body, polished and chewy tannins and a fresh finish. Plenty here for the elevage to work with.

A classy Pauillac offering ample currant fruit as well as notes of tobacco, lead pencil, and a kiss of iron, the 2020 Château La Fleur Peyrabon is medium-bodied, fresh, and focused on the palate, with fine tannins and notable overall balance. A classic, impeccably made wine, it shows the style of the vintage nicely.

Concentrated and a little unforgiving, although there are plenty of black cherry and blackberry fruit together with a shot of black pepper spice. Short on the finish, where the fingers of the tannins show some austerity. Tasted twice.
