Score 91/100 · Drink 2016-2025, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Sep 2014
Tasted next to the 2011, the 2010 Chianti Classico Riserva Marchese Antinori is fresher, brighter and a touch more focused. Dark red and black stone fruits, leather, smoke and grilled herbs jump from the glass in a vibrant, delineated Chianti Classico with good energy and tension. Wilder, gamier notes add complexity on the dark, brooding finish.
