Score 85-87/100 · Drink 1992-2004, Robert Parker, Jun 1992

This property has made considerable progress in the quality of its wines and the 1990 is certainly the best I have yet to taste from La Couspaude. A huge nose of smoky, exotic, red fruits and new oak is followed by a wine with fine concentration, a silky texture, and a lush, ripe finish. Drink it over the next 10-12 years.
