Score 93/100 · Drink 2017-2028, Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate, Dec 2015

Also showing the fresher, more focused style of the vintage, the 2013 Côte Rôtie les Grandes Places has plenty of minerality and depth in its darker fruits, smoked herbs, licorice and crushed rock-like bouquet. This vineyard always produces a more masculine style of Côte Rôtie, and this 2013 is no exception. Medium to full-bodied, nicely concentrated and with fine tannin, it will be better in another couple of years and drink well through 2028.
