Score 89/100 · Drink 2017-2022, Monica Larner, Wine Advocate, Dec 2016

The 2013 Chianti Classico is a fruit-driven expression of Sangiovese. You can't go wrong with a wine like this. It opens to a bright ruby appearance followed by lively primary aromas of wild berry, cassis and dried cherry. It's a simple expression but a well-made wine. The acidity is bright but never too sharp. Lively fruit flavors characterize the finish.
