A reductive nose at first with aromas of red fruit, flowers and ash. Itâs medium-bodied with tight, sleek tannins. Juicy and fruity with pretty floral character. Drink now.

A touch reductive and more marked by its élevage than the other wines in the range, the 2018 Moulin-à-Vent Le Clos du Moulin-à-Vent unwinds in the glass with aromas of smoked meats, plums and forest floor, followed by a medium to full-bodied, velvety but incisive palate that's succulent and seamless. While it needs time to come together, if offers plenty of grounds for optimism.
