2018 St Aubin Blanc En Remilly

The 2018 Saint-Aubin En Remilly 1er Cru shows a slight reduction on the nose, but there is fine fruit underneath here. It just needs time. The palate is well balanced with taut acidity, linear and fresh, lively and citric. It builds discretely towards the judiciously spiced finish. It needs a little time to coalesce, but I believe that it will. This is another impressive white from Olivier Leflaive. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2018 white tasting.
