Tasting notes
One of the portfolio's highlights is the 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin La Brunelle, a medium to full-bodied, rich and velvety wine with a fleshy core of fruit, melting tannins and lively acids, concluding with a saline finish. As ever, it's one of the most immediate, sensual wines in the cellar.

The 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin La Brunelle, matured in around 60% new oak, has an appealing, carefree nose of red berry fruit that feels more open and expressive than Roty’s other 2019 cuvées. The palate is very well balanced, offering saturated tannins and black fruit infused with a smudge of charred oak that will hopefully be absorbed during the remainder of maturation. Pain d’épices and black pepper on the finish. One of the creamiest in terms of texture.
