Tasting notes
At once muscular and velvety, this is an impressive Nuits-Saint-Georges. Brimming with forest-berry character, which wraps around the fine tannins very nicely. Very good length and harmony at the finish. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

Aromas of cherries, cassis, dark chocolate, warm spices and sweet soil tones introduce Drouhin's 2019 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Procès (Domaine), a medium to full-bodied, layered and sapid wine that's deep and concentrated, with more muscular structure than the charming Clos des Mouches, but similar presence and penetration.
The 2019 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Procès 1er Cru, from a parcel acquired in 1996, has a compact nose featuring white pepper (mostly from the 40% whole cluster) intermingling with peaty/ sous-bois aromas. The medium-bodied palate offers structured and quite firm tannins and fine acidity. Quite cohesive, with a saline finish that lingers. Very fine.
