Tasting notes
The 2015 Barbaresco Asili is an attractive wine that can be enjoyed now or cellared. Bright red cherry, rose petal, mint and pine notes are nicely lifted in this lithe, finely drawn Barbaresco. Medium in body and nicely poised, the 2015 Asili has a lot to offer. (AG)

Aromas of cedar, dark berries and white truffles with some fresh earth too. Full body, chewy yet fine tannins and a very, very long and flavorful finish. Chewiness grows on the palate.
Barbaresco. Tasted blind. Maturing mid ruby with orange tinges. Sweet, spicy nose already showing some development with the first hints of undergrowth. Supple and multi-layered. Really classic and old school with both red and dried fruit on the finish. Alcohol seems a little biting, even if it is not excessive. (WS)
