Juicy on entry, then quite imploded in the middle palate, with plenty of energy to the flavors of minerals, spices and pepper. I never would have guessed this wine had a pH close to 3.9. Plenty of fruit lurking but this will need a good five years of bottle aging. Finishes with a suave dusting of tannins.
