Tasting notes
Good full, dark red. Ripe, slightly high-toned but fresh dark fruit aromas. Then dense, superripe and sweet but almost magically fresh, with huge material and powerful fruit. This really stains the palate on the aftertaste, finishing with broad, building tannins and outstanding aromatic complexity. This was awkward a year ago, but is a winner today.

Good ruby-red. Superripe aromas of roasted black fruits and game; almost porty. Fat, silky and sweet, but revealing more texture today than flavor. A rather upright, muscular wine that currently lacks roundness and expressiveness. Finishes with mouthclenching tannins and strong minerality. Rather awkward today.
