Deep vibrant purplish crimson – the colour of the wines showing so well in this bright tasting room filled with daylight. Ripe purple-smelling fruit. Juiciness balanced by light and dry tannins. Slightly abrupt on the finish but QGV . (JH)

The 2018 Bourgogne Pinot Noir has a well-defined, nicely focused nose of dark cherries and blueberry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and quite lithe in the mouth, with a slightly chalky-textured finish. Good body for a generic red.
