Score 86/100 · Drink 2018-2024, Neal Martin, May 2019
The 2011 Vosne-Romanée Les Hautes Maizières offers crisp blackberry and raspberry fruit on the nose, decayed leaves and woodbine scents emerging with time, all with commendable vigor for a Village Cru. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent ripe tannin, sweet in the mouth with a slightly candied but balanced finish that pulls up short. Drink now. Tasted at Flint Wines Burgundy 2011 tasting.

Good full medium red. Dark fruits with a hint of cassis leaf reduction on the nose. Dense, ripe and sweet, with a fleshy texture to the black raspberry flavor. Finishes with serious tannins and very good juicy persistence.
