The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet Village bursts with aromas of pear, peach, warm pastry and white flowers, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny palate that's a lively and nicely balanced example of Carillon's fleshy, enveloping style.

There is a whiff of the exotic in the form of passion fruit present on the acacia blossom and citrus peel-inflected nose. There is again very good volume as well as a relatively sophisticated mouthfeel to the middle weight flavors where the seductive and lingering finish is supported by a moderately firm acid spine. This is an excellent Puligny villages and recommended. 89-92
