The 2019 Auxey-Duresses Cuvée Patience No 12 is matured in 350-litre barrels for 21 months (15% new wood). The nose has more complexity than the 2020 with hints of wild peach and wax resin. The palate builds wonderfully, real weight and complexity here with a very convincing finish that possesses just the right amount of extract. Excellent.

A cuvée that sees extended élevage in 350-liter barrels, the 2019 Auxey-Duresses Patience No. 12 unwinds to reveal aromas of pear, white flowers, buttered citrus and mint. Medium to full-bodied, bright and satiny, with fine depth at the core and a long, precise finish, it's a real success.
