Tasting notes
Creamy texture and citrus refreshment. Just the job! Not too austere; not too blowsy. Good choice on the part of our hosts at Opus One offices in Bordeaux. Went very well with sea bass, mango ceviche, avocado cream and wasabi. (JR)

The 2021 Puligny-Montrachet Village has tightened up a bit in bottle, offering the same aromas of honeyed apricots, white flowers and baking spices that it did from tank but in a more low-key register. Medium-bodied, ample and fleshy, it concludes with a somewhat diffuse finish.
The 2021 Puligny-Montrachet Village has a strict bouquet that is reminiscent of a fine Chablis. Fine definition. The palate is well-balanced, strict, very saline and quite penetrating with a very malic finish. This is quite difficult to hold on to now.
