Score 92/100 · Drink 2025-2045, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2023
Offering up aromas of white peach, almond paste, flowers and freshly baked bread, the 2020 Puligny-Montrachet Les Aubues is medium to full-bodied, bright and satiny, with lovely depth and purity, concluding with a long, precise, saline finish. Derived from an optimally situated enclave within Les Enceignères, this is a bottling I often purchase for my own cellar.

The 2020 Puligny-Montrachet Les Aubues has a feisty, menthol-tinged bouquet that just needs a little more refinement. The palate is medium-bodied with fine definition, showing a little more composure than the aromatics and a brisk, saline finish. Give this two or three years in bottle to show what it is capable of.
