Cask sample. Solid and interesting with real follow-through. Savoury finish. Long. Good balance of richness and freshness. Quite a success. GV (JR)

The 2020 Pommard Vieilles Vignes, one of the Domaine's most important cuvées, comes from limestone soils at the top of the incline. It has a delightful bouquet with redcurrant and cranberry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy red fruit, fine acidity, a touch of sour cherry on the finish with a spicy aftertaste.
