2019 Refosco 'Mont di Zuc'

The 2019 Refosco La Mont di Zuc is woodsy and darkly floral in the glass, with flowery underbrush and earth tones giving way to crushed black cherries and sage. This envelopes the palate in violet-tinged red fruits, as peppery herbal tones and minerals add contrast. A staining of primary concentration and fine-grained tannins lingers as the 2019 finishes with outstanding length and potency. While quite intense today, the future is also very bright.
