Tasting notes
The Chevalier-Montrachet is very expressive on the nose, with gorgeous notes of crisp, white and yellow fruit, with a charming minerality emerging with time. The well-balanced palate offers a nerve of great acidity nerve, complemented by nectarine, citrus and light spice notes. This medium-bodied Grand Cru has a precise and clean mid-palate, driving on to a long and succulent finish, lasting forever. This is a superb effort, but leave it for five years before uncorking to let it really prove its potential.
About the producer

Nicolas Potel is one of Burgundy’s most talented and connected winemakers. He created Maison Roche de Bellene, the négoce arm of Domaine de Bellene, in 2008, using his extensive network in the region to source top-quality fruit for an "haute couture" négociant operation.
