Score 86/100 · Drink 2019-2023, Neal Martin, Mar 2018

The 2015 Lamothe-Vincent felt a little pinched on the nose initially, although it unfurls with aeration to offer blackberry, wild strawberry and light undergrowth aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly tough tannin on the entry, but this is counterbalanced by the dusky black fruit with just a touch of graphite on the finish. Classic in style, drink over three or four years. Tasted at the Oenoconseil tasting room in Bordeaux.
