Tasting notes
The 2020 Morey-Saint-Denis Clos Solon wafts from the glass with aromas of wild berries, rich spices, loamy soil and smoked meats. Medium-bodied, rich and fleshy, with a sweet core of fruit and powdery tannins, it is promising.

The 2020 Morey-Saint-Denis Clos Solon has a bright nose with blackberry and light boysenberry aromas. The palate is sweet and quite candied on the entry, a little rigidity on the entry, foursquare with a black olive tinged finish. Fine, but just a little too correct, just missing a bit of verve.
Tank sample. Medium pink-ruby. Flowers (irises). Red and black small berries. Structured and building on the finish. (MH)
