The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny Village comes mainly from four parcels in the northern part of the appellation, close to the Morey border. It has an attractive, quite intense bouquet of dark cherries, wild strawberry and crushed rose petal aromas. The palate is sappy on the entry, quite solid for a Chambolle. There are some attractive peppery, slightly tertiary, Morey-like notes toward the finish, which has good grip. Give this two or three years in bottle.
