Tasting notes
The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Village has quite a striking, almost rambunctious bouquet with dark cherries, cassis and blue fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with sensual ripe tannins, plush and sweet with a slightly candied, plummy, dark chocolate finish. This will require three or four years in bottle just to cohere and develop secondary nuances.

The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Village offers vibrant black cherries and cranberry fruit on the nose, light loamy scents percolating through with time. The palate is medium-bodied with quite firm tannins, lovely balance, lightly spiced but with good weight and persistence on the finish. Very promising.
Wafting from the glass with aromas of sweet red berries, cherries, rose petals and cassis, the 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Village is medium to full-bodied, velvety and perfumed, with a rich core of fruit, lively acids and a long, saline finish. Seamless and vibrant, it's a terrific cuvée.
