Tasting notes
Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Aligoté. Tasted blind. Mid straw. The light nose gets the saliva going – it’s almost like a super-Muscadet! Lifted, lightly oaky – actually the oak is still a little too strong and spicy for my taste. Very ambitious but not yet in perfect balance. (JR)

A blend of 50% Pinot Gris, 45% Pinot Blanc, and the rest Aligoté, the 2020 Hildegard Estate White Blend has a richer yet still vibrant bouquet of stone fruits, toasted bread, honeysuckle, and spice. This carries to a medium-bodied, beautifully balanced, elegant white with notable richness as well as freshness and balance. It's a beautiful white.
The 2020 White Hildegard Estate is creamy, ample and expressive. Lemon confit, white flowers, baked apple tart and a good dose of new French oak are all dialed up in Au Bon Climat's Pinot Gris/Pinot Blanc/Aligoté blend.
