Tasting notes
The 2015 Campo di Magnacosta s plump, juicy and forward, with lovely immediacy and plenty of textural depth. Black cherry, plum, licorice, lavender, spice and menthol give the 2015 distinctly dark shades of expression. Elevated ripeness blurs some of the site character the Magnacosta can show in the best years.

The 2015 Campo di Magnacosta is more subdued in terms of its aromatic intensity compared to the other two wines in this series of single-vineyard Cabernet Francs. The wine shows an elegant finish that is measured more in terms of length and persistence than power and bulk. There is grace here and you taste it in the subtle way those black fruit flavors are folded within darker tones of spice, tar and cured leather. The texture is already silky to touch, and I would image that it will become even more so with time.
