Bottled. Lightish cherry red. Seductively inviting combination of red fruits and a hint of smoky reduction giving a more savoury character. Lightly peppery and lifted. Gorgeously open and scented on the palate, a real beauty of pure fruit and village typicality. Succulent and sustained. (JH)

The 2017 Morey-Saint-Denis Village offers simple red berries on the nose, along with a slight metallic tincture that will hopefully ebb with time. The well-balanced palate opens supple and quite fleshy, featuring sweet red cherries and candied orange peel. Lithe and precise, with a touch of white pepper toward the finish. Enjoy over the next six to eight years.
