Score 90/100 · Jay S Miller, Wine Advocate, Feb 2007

The 2004 Miserere is a blend of 27% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Garnacha, 26% Tempranillo, 10% Merlot, and 10% Carinena aged for 12 months in French oak and bottled unfiltered. The 2002 is medium ruby with a complex nose reminiscent of a compote of raspberry, strawberry, and cranberry fruits. On the palate the wine is easy-going, forward, and tasty. There is some dry tannin in the finish which kept my score down slightly. Importer: Jorge Ordonez, Fine Estates from Spain, Dedham, MA; tel. (781) 461-5767
