Tasting notes
The 2020 Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Les Lavières wafts from the glass with notions of rich berry fruit, cherries and plums mingled with smoke and spices. Medium to full-bodied, rich and fleshy, with fine concentration, powdery tannins and a long, perfumed finish, it's a sleeper of the vintage well worth seeking out.

The 2020 Savigny-lès-Beaune Les Lavières 1er Cru has a deep colour. It has an attractive, mulberry and tertiary scented bouquet with a touch of wild mint. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fleshy red berry fruit, fine depth with a soy-tinged finish. Probably early drinking.
