Tasting notes
Biodynamic. 12 months in 550-litre and 350-litre oak barrels, less than 10% new. Smoke and oats and apples that spill from the nose across the palate, picking up herb-scented sweetness – fennel-frond honey and angelica. Mouth-filling richness but glorious acidity. This has race and drive and is very exciting. (TC)

The 2019 Saint-Romain Perrière reveals aromas of citrus pith, crisp orchard fruit, white flowers and toasted nuts. Medium to full-bodied, it's chalky and incisive, with tangy acids and a long, saline finish. This is a real success.
