The 2018 Bourgogne Pinot Noir Vieilles Vignes has a straightforward but charming wild strawberry and raspberry bouquet. The palate is fleshy and rounded on the entry with soy-tinged red fruit, gentle grip and a lively, succulent finish. Enjoy this over the next 3–5 years.

Offering up aromas of blackberries and spices, the 2018 Bourgogne Pinot Noir is medium to full-bodied, with a fleshy core of fruit, youthfully chewy tannins and succulent balancing acids. It's a fine effort that should reward a bit of bottle age.

Mid garnet. Quite interesting flavours! Rich and flattering but lots of little wild-flower elements. Ambitious. A bit like a warm bath, until the slight metallic note on the end. (JR)
