Score 88-90/100 · Drink 2023-2033, Neal Martin, Dec 2020

The 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin Village includes 50% whole bunch and is matured in 50% new oak. It offers red cherry mixed with raspberry aromas, quite compact at first and requiring aeration to open up. The palate is medium-bodied with a candied opening, sweet and effervescent. Orange peel tinctures the dark berry on the finish. Quite Morey-like given the austerity.
