2019 St Aubin Blanc Murgers des Dents de Chien

The 2019 Saint-Aubin Les Murgers des Dents de Chiens 1er Cru was a little closed on the nose after bottling, but appears to be well defined and nicely focused. The palate is well balanced and shows more promise, displaying lovely walnut/smoky notes on the entry. There is still a little oak to be integrated, but that will be subsumed with time. Just a faint touch of bitter lemon on the aftertaste extends the length. This deserves 2–3 years in bottle before broaching.
