Score 90/100 · Drink 2018-2027, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Feb 2018
Only the second vintage made of this “second wine” and composed of 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc, the medium to deep garnet-purple colored 2015 Annonce from Bélair Monange reveals a nose of warm red currants, black cherries and mulberries with touches of cigar box and dried herbs. Medium-bodied with a pleasantly grippy frame and oodles of freshness, it delivers a good amount of youthful red and black fruit flavors with a satisfyingly savory finish.
