The 2019 Pinot Noir Avni has especially detailed aromas of rosewater and cranberries, woodsmoke and gravel dust and fragrant earthy undertones. The light-bodied palate is taught and fresh with intense, detailed flavors and a long, seamlessly uplifted finish. This is dangerously drinkable!

Very fresh and fruity initially, on a surprisingly firm and almost skinny framework. Lots of acidity. (JR)

Deep, shimmering red. A highly aromatic bouquet evokes fresh red fruits, licorice and Asian spices, along with a smoky mineral overtone. Juicy, lithe and focused on the palate, offering appealingly sweet, mineral-tinged raspberry, rose pastille and spicecake flavors that deepen slowly with air. Finishes with harmonious tannins, sharp clarity and strong persistence, leaving cherry and spice notes behind.
