The 2021 Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru has a very complex bouquet with a mixture of red and black fruit, touches of brown spice, orange pith and blood orange. Very focused. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grain tannins, a little more powdery in texture than the Clos-de-Bèze, hints of dark chocolate on the aftertaste. Wonderful. There are just 85 liters as usual, minus the mouthful that accidentally on purpose, I swallowed.
