Very slightly lacking focus and acidity compared with the 2022 but more fun than the 2021. Bright fruit and good for drinking now, in 2024. (JR)

The 2020 Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatières 1er Cru was picked on 26 August. It has a lively bouquet with fresh pear and red apples, quite pretty and focused. The palate is rounded, quite creamy on the entry, yellow plum and nectarine notes with a touch of spice towards the soft landing on the finish. Easygoing, but quite delicious.
