Tasting notes
Mid-deep cherry. Quite closed nose; dark and serious. Wafts of violets and cassis. Richly textured. Early days. (MH)

Mid crimson. I'm surprised by the low alcohol! Very round and flattering. Ready now! All fruit, sufficient acidity and hardly any tannin. Quite unusual. Medium length. For pleasure it's 16.5; for ambition it's 16 but it's quite long! (JR)
The 2020 Nuits-Saint-Georges Village has quite a powerful bouquet with black plum and raspberry scents and touches of cassis. The palate is medium-bodied with chewy tannins, fine depth and is grippy with satisfying freshness. Maybe just lacks the precision and tension of the Premier Cru from the Domaine, but it will drink well for the next decade.
