Tasting notes
The 2021 Chablis Village has a tightly wound, slightly damp, earthy nose. The palate is light-bodied with simple orange confit-tinged citrus fruit, but it feels a bit short on the finish.

Purer and more aromatically classical than its Petit Chablis counterpart, Droin's 2021 Chablis Village offers up aromas of pear, white flowers, oyster shell and honey, followed by a medium to full-bodied, tangy and incisive palate, concluding with a saline finish.
A little too severe to drink now but everything is in place. Quite a bit of mid-palate weight which almost dominates the acidity. (JR)
This is aromatically similar to the Petit Chablis though with more citrus elements in evidence. There is again good richness to the succulent and rounded medium-weight flavors that also exude a refreshing salinity on the clean, moderately dry and sneaky long finish that is slightly firmer.
