Aromas of spiced plums, blackberries, mushrooms, tar, baking spices and wet earth. Full-bodied and dense with layers of chewy tannins and a round, creamy texture. Rich and viscous with a firm finish. A mix of spicy and earthy notes to close. Drink or hold.

Score 94/100 · Drink 2021-2029, Luis Gutiérrez, Wine Advocate, Jun 2021
The 2017 Petit Verdot shows very serious, harmonious, Atlantic and elegant with herbal and peppery notes, certainly not lacking ripeness (it's 14.5% alcohol, lower than 2016) and with a finer mouthfeel, rounder tannins and a more balanced palate. It feels like this wine behaves better in warmer years. 2,921 bottles were filled in May 2019.
