Score 85-87/100 · Drink 2018-2023, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2017

The 2016 Saint Aubin 1er Cru Les Champlots was showing some reduction on the nose that made it difficult to read. The palate is well balanced with a fine thread of acidity, lightly spiced with a tang of marmalade toward the finish. It just needs a little more brightness and substance to match recent vintages.
