Tasting notes
The 2020 Chardonnay Viña Cobos Zingaretti Estate from Villa Bastías, Uco Valley was 18% aged in new oak, the rest in used. Yellowy green in hue. A complex, layered nose offers lime and ginger with hints of apple, oak and a touch of honey. It’s broad and terse on the palate with well-integrated freshness, concentration and an alcoholic energy lent by the year which is tamed by the fine, polished structure. A well-made, precise wine from a warm, difficult year.

This old-vine chardonnay shows beautiful density and polish, with a round, creamy texture. Itâs full-bodied, refined, soft and fluffy. Fresh and bright. Intense, yet subtle. Korean pear and cherry blossom. Wonderful white with unique character. 400 cases made. Drink now or hold.
