Tasting notes
Score 88/100 · Drink 2023-2032, Neal Martin, Sep 2022

The 2020 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru comes across a bit staid on the nose compared to its peers. It just needs to muster more vigour. The palate is medium-bodied with fine acidity, yet overall, like the aromatics, it is missing some complexity and seems to saunter across the finish line. Tasted blind at the BIVB tasting in Chablis.

An extremely graceful Chablis Grand Cru with a wide spectrum of pear, yellow-apple, citrus and mirabelle aromas. Concentrated and refined, with excellent precision through the very long, mineral finish that’s simultaneously delicate and stony. Drink or hold.
