The 2020 Fixin (Méo-Camuzet Frère & Soeurs) is taut and incisive, unwinding in the glass with notes of red berries, cassis, orange rind and spices. Medium-bodied, lively and tightly wound, it's a little compact and will require some time to unwind.

The 2020 Fixin Village did not quite possess the "flow" and delineation of the Marsannay at this point. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, good backbone here but it feels quite tight on the finish.
